Good news! The next Society for Conservation Biology Oceania Section meeting is going to be in Suva, Fiji on 9th – 11th July.

Many of us attended the last SCB Oceania meeting in Darwin, Australia, and it was a really fantastic conference. I have no doubt that the Fiji meeting will equal or better it, so plan your 2014 schedules and budgets accordingly! Having lived in Suva for a couple of years whilst working for the Wildlife Conservation Society, I’m especially excited to have an excuse to go back – to catch up with colleagues, friends, and yummy Fijian food. The USP campus is a lovely venue too, with open air lecture theatres that replace chilly air-conditioning with tropical breezes. Here’s a couple of instagrams to tempt you…
