Follow up on 3MT competition: Congratulations!

Today was the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies‘ 3MT competition. All presenters, including Amelia and Georgina who represented the Conservation Planning Group, did a really great job today (see abstracts), which made the competition pretty tough…

Special congratulations to Georgina Gurney, winner of the “Graduate Student” category with her presentation on the effects of Marine Protected Areas on people!

Next, Georgina will be representing the the Conservation Planning Group, and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies at the James Cook University Three Minute Thesis competition finals in September.
